MY STORY

Dímelo Hilando was founded in Córdoba in 2012, born from the passion for fashion of Beatriz Baldasano Valdés, owner and designer of the brand.

A graduate in Nursing, Beatriz combined her healthcare profession with her beginnings in this art thanks to her great creative capacity and her passion for everything that encompassed the wonderful world of pattern making, design, and sewing. She gradually delved into it and, almost without realizing it, it led her to register her own brand, which grows in sizing as her three children do.

Today, at Dímelo, as she herself refers to it and as the brand is increasingly known, there is room for all girls, young and old, who share the essence of the brand and the commitment to add value to society through fashion.

Born in Malaga and adopted by Cadiz from a young age, her creative capacity and leadership skills meant she always had a project in hand, especially "devoted" if they had a social character. Detail-oriented and perfectionist, she usually achieved what she set out to do with great capacity for work and effort.

She currently lives in Cordoba, where she got married and started a family, which has always been the driving force behind her business project, because, as she describes on countless occasions, without them none of this would have been possible.

That family-oriented and cheerful character is reflected in the brand's name, undoubtedly Dímelo Hilando's greatest charm, a tribute to her maternal grandmother. Her grandmother Mariluz taught her to enjoy the small things, not to overthink and to get started, to love to love, and to value what is important. During her summers in Toro, Zamora, and between conversations with her, always attentive and with some task at hand, with patience and affection, she would tell her, "don't stop, keep telling me, but tell me weaving".

It was in 2018 when she decided to take the leap and set aside her nursing profession to fully dedicate herself to her business project. The more mature collections began to gain more and more strength, as did her presence at international fashion fairs where she presented the brand and began to expand into the multi-brand channel in addition to her store in Cordoba, where her First Communion collections, now an international benchmark, play a special role.

In December 2019, she opened her second store in Malaga, but after her father's sudden death that same month, a weather-related collapse of the premises, and the arrival of COVID, she was forced to close. It was then that she faced an incredibly difficult period, from which she ultimately emerged notably strengthened, thanks to the support of her family and her commitment to bringing to fruition #themostbeautifulcollectionintheworld, as she herself calls each collection she creates. This marked the beginning of her "comeback," which was reflected in a video that went viral on social media during the pandemic.

In December 2020, she opened a store in the center of Seville, and in October 2021, one in Madrid, in the heart of the Salamanca neighborhood.

Enthusiasm, effort, and perseverance; quality and closeness; the importance of small details and work well done, mark her roadmap.

These are values she has successfully conveyed to her team, of whom she is incredibly proud, as they embrace the brand as their own and daily put in a tremendous amount of effort with a high level of commitment and professionalism, achieving the ultimate goal of making the shopping experience at Dímelo unique and unforgettable, creating a lasting impact.
