Perhaps it would be appropriate for that woman who has accumulated quite a few springs and is around ninety-something to tell us about her daily life, talents, and intelligence hidden under the umbrella of the home.

Perhaps they, with their silence about what they lived through and their example of work, effort, and struggle, were the first rung on the ladder that encouraged us to know that we could climb many more, and that we are still halfway through a journey to reach who knows what height. I have no doubt that it will be the highest...

Perhaps it is we who raise our voices, changing hearts, doing without drawing attention, but giving pause for thought to those who see us. With our daily lives. Full of stories of overcoming challenges and work well done. Capable of successfully managing several projects at once, leading many of them and having an agenda open to many pages at once, all written, none blank. One of them might be your family, another perhaps your job, another your most spiritual side, another perhaps the list of what still needs to be bought, or what will be eaten tomorrow, or the blessed vaccine that still needs to be administered... and all those pages crossed off at the end of the day...

Perhaps we still have to keep showing the world that talent does not distinguish between men and women, that we are equal and that together we are more and better, that by working as a team we can climb that ladder faster, that words full and hearts empty are not enough...

Because there is nothing greater than being a woman, from pride, from the maternal gesture that embraces everything, from talent and intelligence, from the capacity to love and give love...
